Firefighter John Leary of the Bedford Fire Department and Foundation Director Mark Klose picked up the Ruger American Rifle today, Jan 23, 2013, at Rody’s Gun Shop. The winning ticket was drawn by Amber Ramsden of Super Cuts in Concord, NH.
The Ruger Bolt Action American Rifle was graciously donated by Sturm, Ruger & Co., Inc.to assist the Foundation in continuing to provide assistance to New Hampshire’s First Responders and their families, who have suffered catastrophic events not covered by health insurances or workmens compensation. This past year was difficult as New Hampshire saw a number of tragic events from the shootings in Greenland resulting in the loss of Chief Michael Maloney and the wounding of three other officers, the sudden loss of Fire Chief Rick Schaefer, and a number of first responders and their families facing serious medical expenses the Foundation was able to respond to all of the requests for assistance.
Committee meet in Concord today at 374 Loudon Road and the winning ticket was drawn by Amber Ramsden, receptionist for Super Cuts located on Loudon Road.
